Before you start

Freighter runs in a computer's browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Brave), not on a phone.

On a phone? Try the sandbox now, and set up from a computer later.

You'll need

A computer with Freighter, Stellar's wallet.
A safe place to write down Freighter's recovery phrase. Freighter shows it once when you create your wallet; it is the only way back into the wallet.
Each worker's Kalypso address. They make one on the Your pay page; it starts with C.
Your pay amounts, typed in or as a spreadsheet saved as CSV (address, amount, name).
Nothing else: test money is free once you connect.

Install Freighter, Stellar's wallet for your browser, from freighter.app.
Click the Freighter icon in your browser's toolbar. At the top of Freighter, click the network name (it says Main Net) and choose Test Net.
Come back here and choose Connect Freighter. Free test money is one click away after that.

Keeping your own books? You choose that during setup, with this same wallet. Using an outside accountant? They go first: they open the Accountant page, register their key, and send you an accountant id and an address. Just exploring? Try the sandbox, which plays every part for you.

Free test money

After you connect, one click gives you 100 test XLM and 100 test USDC from Kalypso's faucet. Test money has no value.
